We have an exciting opportunity for a Java Developer (Full-Stack) role in a London-based Capital Markets company. It is a market-leading provider of best implementation algorithmic trading, smart order processing, and transactional cost analysis services to a wide range of clients, including global investment banks and specialty brokers. To support its UK operations, it is looking for a talented and experienced individual to monitor, manage, and grow the services, as well as contribute to the brand's global expansion.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of expertise creating high-performance Java 1.8+ applications, as well as concurrency and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding and expertise with integration and system testing, operating in a CI/CD setup, while using distributed version control solutions.
- Reactive programming with object-oriented design.
- Working understanding of Linux and Docker is required.
- Experience with Maven, Spring, and JMS, as well as Gradle and Kafka, is a plus.
- Relational databases knowledge like MySql, hive.
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as the capacity to work independently.
- Talkative and communicative.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability.
- Written verbal English fluency.
- The ability to communicate in Mandarin is a huge plus.
- Have financial market background.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Putting the technological strategies into operational.
- Maintaining the present codebase while developing innovative solutions.
- Producing high-quality front-end production code and real-time analytics feeds on a daily basis.
- Delivering well-thought-out, clear code that benefits business expansion.
- Design and maintenance of infrastructure (database, message broker, application, releases, patching).
