We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Market Risk BA role in an IT Services and IT Consulting company based in Berkshire. The company offers IT services to brands, enabling them to attain the necessary combination of people and technology to achieve business results at a lower cost. This is a hybrid office position with a pro-rata salary and a 6-month contract with the possibility of becoming full-time.

Job Requirements:

Degree-level education and, ideally, Mandarin fluency.
Strong understanding of Market Data needs, as well as Risk, Finance, and Operational processes and requirements.
Knowledge of or familiarity with the Bank's core platforms, such as Asset Management, Murex, Xenomorph
VAR reporting, Incremental Risk Charge, Stress Testing, and Back Testing are examples of Market Risk processes to be familiar with.
Product Control business operations such as Independent Price Verification (IPV) and Bid/Offer provisioning should be understood.
Gathering business requirements and developing both business and functional requirement specifications is a plus.
In the financial services industry, a strong, proven track record of project performance with shown ability.
Throughout the whole project lifecycle, from design to testing and eventually deployment.
Collaboration in geographically dispersed teams.
Providing complicated functionality in a time-constrained environment.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Closely collaborating with Risk and Finance enterprise users to understand and control their requirements, and turning these into specs that can be executed by IT build teams.
Supporting projects through the entire software development cycle, including the requirement phase, solution creation, all levels of testing, and eventually deployment.
Building and maintaining a strong operating model for the Market Data system in collaboration with architecture and technology.
Develop and maintain good domain expertise in the Risk and Technology architecture from a commercial standpoint.
Learning how systems work together and how data flows through them.
Strong working relationship with any change initiative's project management.
Be able to articulate business issues and concerns to the relevant service delivery managers to facilitate them in controlling production support through an ITIL framework.
