We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager role in a Manufacturing company. By working with e-commerce merchants to buy and develop winning brands, the business aims to create a new consumer products giant. The organisation is seeking an entrepreneurially-minded, experienced expert to join the Operations Team, where they will collaborate closely with other key areas and take full responsibility for improving procurement management.

Job Requirements:

A bachelor's or master's degree in a related discipline is required (e.g. business, economics, engineering, supply chain).
Have at least 2 years of extensive experience in sales or a related role with negotiating exposure.
Applicants with less experience may be considered for a junior procurement manager role.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiating abilities.
Team player and an excellent communicator.
Have a hands-on mindset and business passion.
Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Serve as a bridge between vendors and Brand Managers by communicating effectively.
Proactively handle our worldwide supplier relationships.
Lead talks with suppliers on pricing and terms of purchase.
Work with the sourcing team in China.
Team up with the executive team on buying strategy, including global procurement and near-shoring options.
Create scalable procurement mechanisms for the Operations Department.
Collaborate with Growth Managers and other stakeholders to develop new ways to optimise inventory for corporate brands.
