We have an exciting opportunity for an International Logistics Coordinator role in a Building Materials company based in Cambridgeshire. The company is an innovative door manufacturer to transform the door industry. This is a 6-month temporary-to-permanent position. This position's primary job will be to provide general administrative assistance to the present Supply Chain & Inventory department.

Job Requirements:

An analytical approach and strong administration skills.
Excellent organisational skills and self-motivation.
A high degree of proficiency with MS Office suite, especially MS Excel.
Demonstrated competence managing several, different projects and assignments at the same time.
Although prior experience in a Supply Chain function is preferred, enthusiasm and a willingness to succeed are equally crucial.
Possessing a nice personality.
Excellent meticulousness, accuracy, and listening abilities.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Estimating inventory requirements to ensure the ongoing supply of all commodities sourced, per current needs and patterns.
Generating PO through ERP system (Merlin), negotiating with suppliers, and proceeding to goods receipt.
Tallying order acknowledgements against items ordered; informing and solving vendor queries.
Validation of shipped products with order receipts.
Keeping track of inventory arrival info (vessel info, ETA etc.) and allocated spending.
Tracking and scheduling all vendor shipments and pickups to guarantee timely arrival.
Handling import paperwork for shipment as needed.
Collaboration with the Goods In team to verify receipt, correct processing and reconciliation with shipping list and invoice of all deliveries.
Updating data on purchasing spreadsheets.
Assisting the Supply Chain Manager when needed.
