We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Site Store Manager role in a London based Supermarket chain. The Retail Group provides a wide choice of premium and trendy Asian goods to the market, as well as traditional and trendy street cuisine, and focuses on offering exceptional customer service. It is seeking an experienced retail store manager with previous store management experience, ideally in food retail.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of retail management experience.
- Experience in the food retail business - preferably in supermarkets.
- 5+ years of staff development and leadership experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing employee performance, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Outstanding time management, delegation, and problem-solving abilities.
- A customer-centred approach.
- Excellent knowledge of basic shop operations and procedures.
- Working knowledge of KPIs and the ability to improve store performance.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Understanding of East Asian and South-East Asian cuisine items.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the routine operations of multiple stores.
- Control practises and regulations such as store standards, safety and health, customer support, and inventory control.
- Motivate your team by leading by example.
- Take complete accountability for the store's success and routine operations.
- Allocate work effectively and inspire your team to attain maximum potential.
- Resolve issues quickly so staff may concentrate on their work.
- Recruiting, training, and developing to build a team.
- Be in charge of staff rotas.
- Ensure and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage and enhance key performance indicators across all of your locations.
- Understanding and controlling the payroll budget.
- Keep track of your daily spending and revenues.
- Maintain communication with the building's administration.
- Control stock loss/shrinkage.
- Manage any difficulties with employee performance in the stores.
