We have an exciting opportunity for a Real Estate Solicitor role in a London based Law firm. The firm is a well-known law firm with a considerable global presence that provides a broad range of expert legal services to corporate and personal customers via specialised divisions. It is seeking a competent, confident and experienced solicitor to join its fast-paced Property Finance Team. The secured lending/property financing division focuses on high quality and has established itself as a trusted brand to a number of panels, which it hopes to build on.
Job Requirements:
- NQ- Minimum 3 years of PQE is essential.
- Experience working with all aspects of real estate, as well as bridging and secured lending arrangements.
- Excellent technological expertise.
- Interest in and demonstrated aptitude in company development.
- Working experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a Lexcel-recognised firm.
- Self-assured and self-motivated.
- Meticulousness is essential.
- Outstanding written and oral communication abilities.
- Experience with bridging financing would be a huge plus.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Acting on behalf of banks, corporations, investors, and developers, among others.
- Dual representation- working on behalf of both the lender and the borrower.
- Property financing and bridging.
- Drafting agreements, leases, licences, consents, transfer deeds, and other real estate agreements.
- Analysing, updating, and commenting on various draught real estate papers.
- Carrying out real estate due diligence and reporting on title, searches, and queries.
- Handling commercial real estate transaction files such as purchases, dispositions, leases and lease renewals, and a range of property management issues.
- Dealing directly with significant commercial clients, such as in-house estates teams, commercial agencies, and surveyors.
