We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager role in a Logistics & Supply Chain company based in Feltham. The company is a customs and freight forwarding provider that provides customized services for Cross-Modal Import & Export, E-com Logistics Compliance Control, C2C consignments, Reverse Logistics, and other areas. It is currently seeking to hire a bi-lingual person to fill this position.
Job Requirements:
- A UK-recognized bachelor's degree or above is required.
- It is necessary to be fluent in both English and Chinese.
- Capable of using the Windows operating system and office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Additional Requirements:
- Two reference letters from previous employers/universities with contact information, including work emails (if the candidate is a graduate from university).
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a language and math test that will be administered remotely.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in sales responsibilities such as sales lead administration, sales quotation, sales charge and reporting, sales project management, and new product development assistance.
- Customer Service Management (CRM).
- Marketing Communication and Event Assistance.
- Assist with social media marketing.
- Use a Marketing Intelligence Tool to grow business.
- Customs assistance, declaration.
- Assist with operational responsibilities such as record keeping and filing, external coordination, and issue resolution.
- Assume responsibility for ad hoc duties in exchange for fair assignments.
- Adapting to flexible working hours and ensuring optimal job efficiency may be required.
- Attending domestic and international business meetings may be necessary on occasion.
