Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of sea freight operations, from client bookings through cargo pickup and carrier bookings.
• Seek and collect bids from vendors in a timely and effective manner.
• Create export reservation confirmations/import arrival notes and update account managers.
• Handle customs entries for sea freight exports through agents.
• Oversee shipments backed by letters of credit and, as needed, produce certificates of origin.
• Prepare documents for customs clearance, clearance broker, or in-house clearance.
• Monitoring of entries and coordinating import delivery in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain efficient communication during all phases of the marine freight operations process, ensuring that all relevant information is passed to coworkers and external parties for smooth and prompt operation.
