We have an exciting opportunity for a Residential Property Solicitor role in a Law Practice firm based in London. The partnership firm is a globally recognised business law practice that offers a variety of services including Business Immigration, Commercial Litigation and Arbitration, Employment, Residential Conveyancing, etc. The company is looking for a conscientious, confident, self-motivated, and experienced lawyer to join the busy residential property department. The selected applicant will have good technical expertise, a strong interest in and shown competence in business growth, and a proactive attitude to risk management.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of PQE is required.
  • Managing experience of all aspects of residential real estate.
  • Prior experience in purchases and sales of freehold and leasehold properties.
  • Remortgaging including those on Company-owned property experience.
  • Experience handling transfer and fresh leases for developers in any work.
  • Dealing experience with HTB-financed new construction.
  • Outstanding technical knowledge.
  • Curiosity in business development.
  • Functioning experience in a fast-paced organisation, as well as working as part of a team, is required.
  • Be able to display self-assurance and motivation.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute case load efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented thinking is required.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet with customers, offer practical advice, and collect first instructions.
  • Follow up on ongoing client cases, establish crucial information and key dates, and take on new orders regularly.
  • Execute legal research and remain informed on legal developments.
  • Meet all deadlines and keep everyone updated on the status of the case.
  • Prepare appeal packages, write witness testimonies, and consult with medical specialists.
  • Maintain professional and productive communication with coworkers and clients.
  • Maintain a high quality of processing items and a heavy caseload on your own.
  • Show efficiency, detail-orientedness, professionalism, and leadership.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safety of all company and client information.
