We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics operations Administrator role in a Northampton based Logistics & Supply Chain provider. The firm is a privately held independent operator that provides proactive and creative logistics solutions worldwide. The company is seeking to hire a person having Mandarin proficiency possessing the required attributes.
Job Requirements:
• Customer support (preferably) or a desire to provide great customer service
• Fast learner with a keen eye for detail
• Strong organisational, multitasking, and interpersonal (verbal/written) abilities
• Mandarin proficiency is mandatory
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities
• Strong computer literacy (MS Word and Excel)
• The capacity to prioritise and organise job load in order to meet deadlines
• Capability to operate under duress and meet deadlines
• A team player who also takes the initiative to work alone
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls
• Handle all aspects of office management and logistics
• Be in charge of data input, system updates, and maintaining all paperwork updated and orderly
• Handle the despatch and reception of packages
• Handle inventory operations
• As part of a fast-paced team, meet deadlines depending on distribution schedules
• Deal with customers and follow up on their requests and orders
• Organize mobility details and provide updates on any delays or difficulties that may occur
• Report and deliver the necessary papers for customer shipping
• Interact with the haulers and the consumer
