We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Accountant role in Account practice firm based in London. It is searching for a bilingual newly qualified accountant to contribute to its growth.
Job Requirements:
- Fully qualified CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Bilingual in English and Cantonese or Mandarin.
- Excellent grasp of SAP or comparable accounting software.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (mainly Excel).
- Excellent knowledge of UK tax law and the drafting of company tax filings.
- Excellent experience in the production of yearly statutory accounts.
- Strong understanding of SOX controls and internal controls in general.
- Integrity and compliance are of the utmost importance.
- Previous experience in the field is preferred.
- Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing a client portfolio and meeting accounting and auditing criteria.
- Working on behalf of a diverse spectrum of SMEs and limited business entities.
- Managing the customer's bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll needs, as well as counselling the client on difficulties.
- finalising profit and loss statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Creating year-end financial statements and submitting statutory reports to Companies House.
- Completing yearly audit requirements for clients as well as compiling accounting reports.
- Guiding junior accountants.
- Collaborating regularly with existing clients to maintain strong client relationships and develop new prospects.
