We have an exciting opportunity for a Freight Forwarding Operation Manager role in a China-based Logistics and supply chain company. The company offers international trading business to e-commerce international merchants, as well as importing/exporting goods between Europe and China, international logistics, and container leasing services. The company is looking to hire a freight forwarding operation manager who will be responsibility of building European forwarding operations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above is required.
- Preferably with a background in logistics operation management and expertise in an eCommerce logistics operation.
- Outstanding communication abilities.
- Fluency in Mandarin or Chinese.
- Results that are self-motivated, analytical, and data-driven.
- Customs expertise in freight forwarding.
- Computer literate.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervising the whole logistical operation.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations while keeping track of crucial logistical KPIs.
- Conducting market and industry research and producing business ideas as a result.
- Administration of customs entries.
- Management of key accounts.
- Meeting with a client to retain business (new & existing).
- Ensuring that all corporate standards and procedures are followed.
