Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the vessels in reporting and compliance requirements, as well as fostering a greater level of safety policy.
• Establish a direct line of communication between the vessel and the firm.
• Compliance with illex fishing vessel licence conditions is monitored and actively managed to address problems with health & crew welfare, and general marine rules and regulations.
• Preparation, management, and implementation of illex vessel port visits in collaboration with Silverstream Maritime Ltd, including transhipments at FIPASS and in Port William.
• Organization of crew greeting and repatriation, as well as assistance and support for crew visits for medical care and any other activities associated with a vessel's visit to Stanley.
• Assist with the maintenance of vessel hygiene requirements (HACCP) compliance if required.
• Oversee the processing of licence applications, including direct contact with vessel owners.
• Coordination of cargo export paperwork receipt, issuance, and distribution for vessels transhipping to containers.
• Receiving, preparing, and distributing vessel catch reports daily.
• Develop and execute methods to reduce the risk of noncompliance.
• Notify firm management of any instances of noncompliance.
• Give input on observer reports while looking for opportunities to enhance best practices.
• Analysis and development of compliance standards in collaboration with appropriate authorities and specialists.
• With MSN1873, aid with the long-term objective of bringing illex boats up to par.
• As needed, assist the Firm Manager and Operations Coordinator, as well as other staff members, in the routine functioning of the company.
