We have 2 openings in a London based food retailer. The giant food retailer is searching for 2 proactive, hands-on, and customer-focused individuals to work as Deputy Store Managers at its shops.
Job Requirements:
• Speaking and writing abilities in Mandarin or Cantonese are required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Previous experience working with high-turnover shops.
• Self-assurance in performing hands-on chores.
• Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in personnel management.
• Support the shop manager in keeping the store running smoothly.
• Execute financial management and budgeting.
• Ensure that stock is handled per the demands of daily sales.
• Conduct frequent risk assessments for health and safety.
• Increase your understanding of local customers and competitors.
• Oversee the training of new employees to ensure the quality of service delivered.
• When necessary, assist coworkers in all aspects.
