We have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager role in a Restaurant Group based in London. The restaurant chain has grown throughout the United Kingdom and is regarded as one of the finest restaurant brands. For this post, the group is now looking for a Chinese-speaking experienced Restaurant Manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience supervising or aiding in the supervision of restaurant employees.
  • Proficiency in Chinese.
  • Must have local experience in the hospitality industry. 
  • A track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • A friendly and efficient service approach with an emphasis on precision.
  • A well-organized and friendly management style, as well as the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively, are required.
  • A passion for all things eating and drinking.
  • While interacting with both internal and external partners, provide excellent customer service.
  • Organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability and desire to multitask, are required.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to investigate priorities are required.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Capability to carry out obligations effectively and efficiently with little supervision or guidance.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Head Chef to ensure that the restaurant operates well while maintaining a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
  • Keeping track of staff schedules and leave requests.
  • Setting a good example in terms of attitude and professionalism.
  • Recruitment and training of qualified employees.
  • Working with suppliers to guarantee product quality and to seek local and sustainable providers.
  • Keeping working environments safe while following all food safety processes and health and safety requirements.
  • Inventory control and procurement, as well as stock, takes on a regular basis.
  • Identifying and executing opportunities to improve sales, as well as cooperating with management to meet revenue objectives.
  • Ensure that all business policies and procedures are followed.
  • Responsible for all paperwork and organisation.
