We have an exciting opportunity for a Responsible Sourcing Analyst role in a Financial Services company based in London. The firm is the global trading centre for industrial metals and serves as a platform for participants to deal with price risks associated with various metals. The organisation is looking for a Responsible Sourcing Analyst to help run the responsible sourcing programme and report directly to the Responsible Sourcing Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Degree-level education with a minimum of a 2:1 or similar.
- Previous work experience in either metals industry or human rights due diligence or environmental or social audits.
- Knowledge of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Mineral Supply Chains from Dispute and High-Risk Areas.
- Capable of executing numerous deliveries at the same time and recognising each one's priorities.
- Highly driven and self-sufficient (working with management in a different time zone will be a need for this position.).
- Excellent written and spoken communication abilities, as well as experience interacting with international audiences, are required.
- English and Mandarin proficiency.
- Excellent command of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience with a CRM platform is desired.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Review Internal procedures critically to anticipate problems and contribute to changes.
- Evaluate and ratify producer-submitted sourcing information.
- Liaise with all brand producers regularly, addressing questions and escalating larger concerns to the Sourcing Manager as appropriate.
- Proactive interaction with other teams (such as Physical Operations, Sustainability, and Marketing) encouraging cooperation, efficiency, and collaboration.
- Identifying and communicating the needs of the responsible sourcing programme for the new Salesforce database.
- As needed, identify and update existing materials, documentation, and training to add references to the responsible sourcing programme.
- Development of background briefings on various topics such as applicable legislation or upcoming challenges.
- Evaluate and study, both quantitative and qualitative, on sustainability team-identified issues and internal KPI.
- Preparation of materials for presentations at meetings and conferences.
