We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager role in a London based Restaurant Group. The restaurant company is inspired by the world's greatest five-star hotels, which offer a diverse range of fresh foods at one stop and push the buffet idea to new heights. Since its inception, the company has spread throughout the United Kingdom as clients enjoy global cuisine from around the globe. This job is critical to the successful completion of construction projects; this individual will work closely with the MD to oversee project management and also field-based site management of the existing restaurant and future new locations. The applicant must have a thorough understanding of both the business and delivery sides of projects.
Job Requirements:
• Must have at least five years of expertise in various project management, preferably in the catering sector.
• Ideally, you should come from the construction sector and/or have a lot of on-site expertise.
• A go-getter with the capacity to work flexibly and efficiently while adhering to strict timelines.
• Focused on outcomes and delivery.
• Numeracy abilities with a business sense.
• SMSTS is a must.
• Fully computer literate and familiar with AUTOCAD (desirable).
• Excellent negotiating and persuasion abilities.
• Speaking Mandarin or Cantonese is advantageous.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
• Outline the project's scope, as well as the budget, deadlines, and quality standards.
• From start to finish, from construction to completion and handover.
• Examine restaurant design plans for constructability and coordination.
• Create budgetary spreadsheets, cash flow forecasts, and financial costings information.
• Specify tasks and resource needs, and ensure that resources are distributed correctly.
• Plan and order supplies and equipment, and make sure they arrive on schedule.
• Provide landlords, municipal authorities, agents, or other relevant parties with the appropriate documentation, permissions, and consents.
• Keep an eye on the project's development and make modifications as needed.
• Avoid project hazards by ensuring that project deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and at the required degree of quality.
• Assist in the coordination of activities between organizational departments and external parties such as architects, vendors, and government agencies.
• Manage locations, including providing excellent assistance and good communication with coworkers and contractors.
• For supplies from the Far East, deal efficiently with customs and suppliers.
• Compile and keep track of project documentation for top management.
• Update and maintain the most up-to-date restaurant-related data in multiple databases.
