We have an exciting opportunity for a PA to the Director role in a London based Education Management company. The firm fosters educational linkages between China and the UK by offering first-rate services such as counselling potential students and assisting them in obtaining chances from UK independent schools. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to create documents, briefings, reports and demonstrations, as well as to organise meetings and ensuring that the Director is properly prepared for them.

Job Requirements:

•    Education or professional experience in the United Kingdom is desirable.
•    Preferably bilingual in Mandarin and English
•    Possess excellent interpersonal and customer support skills
•    The capacity to operate under duress and adhere to strict deadlines
•    Assertiveness and adaptability in the workplace, including flexible working hours.
•    Ability to collaborate and interact with individuals from various backgrounds and levels
•    Able to establish the legal right to work in the United Kingdom under the Immigration, Asylum, and Nationality Act of 2006.
•    1 year of employment experience as a PA (preferred)
 

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

•    Maintaining and providing assistance for the Director's routine, including ahead preparation of his tasks, diary maintenance, and coordinating and compiling all necessary documentation.
•    To assist with meetings, including the drafting of committee notes, the acquisition and drafting of briefings and presentations, and the recording of minutes as needed.
•    Facilitate communication between the Director of Facilities and internal divisions/departments, as well as external organisations
•    Work with the Director in order to successfully organise and handle corporate training events such as assessment meetings and seminars. This includes everything from initial planning through event administration, budgeting control, invoicing, and evaluations after the event have occurred.
•    Establish secure and efficient documentation for the Director and his offices, comprising HR files, in accordance with business processes and the Data Protection Act, and to ensure that HR rules are followed.
•    Updating knowledge of HR policies and procedures, advising/assist the Director on HR matters and the hiring process (coordination, job descriptions, etc.).
•    Assuring that electronic and digital records of personnel information are accurate and complete.
•    Orienting new workers and training current staff while keeping track of their performance.
•    To help the company, in preserving and expanding their collaborative relationships with clients (mostly traditional UK schools)
•    Perform any additional tasks suitable to the grade as instructed by the Director or his appointed deputy
