We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Product Manager role for a Pennsylvania based semiconductors company. The company is a pioneer in the development and production of vacuum technologies. The suitable candidate will possess a high level of product and market expertise.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a comparable role (Product Management, Technical Sales, or Engineering in Electronic Materials) is desirable.
  • Experience in industry-related materials, such as vacuum science, semiconductors, and so on, is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in science or comparable work experience is required; a master's degree or doctorate is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Communication abilities that are strong.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Willing to do nightly and international trips.
  • Complete knowledge of the product line's technical characteristics, operating principles, the numerous applications for which the products are used/designed, and the product's merits and shortcomings in comparison to rivals' goods.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

•    Develop a marketing plan in collaboration with Marketing. The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of the market for their goods, as well as the markets in which they are already operating (market share) and any markets that have been identified for penetration.
•    By guiding product development through the Innovation process, you'll be in charge of product strategy and a roadmap. To fulfil these requirements and opportunities, the market direction and needs must be evaluated, and goods must be produced or adjusted to suit these wants and opportunities.
•    Develop knowledge about important suppliers and maintain interpersonal ties with key employees at these companies.
•    Deliver timely sales assistance by providing tools such as technical support, training, and direct client engagement as needed.
•    Establish the inventory plan and/or service standards for each firm in collaboration with the appropriate supply-chain team.
•    When researching and addressing customer complaints and/or Corrective Action Requests (CARs), assume a leadership role to guarantee the client receives great service and assistance.
•    Participation in the business development process is required. The Product Manager's dedication to sales volume, gross profit level, and cost control is included in this strategy.
